Happy Stuff

Winter break ran away.  (Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and now, Happy Groundhog Day!)

I just accepted an internship.  For costuming.  In Utah.  GAH!!!

When I say "just" I really mean that this happened a month ago and I've neglected to finish the post until now.  So.  The day after I graduate, I get on a plane to go start work!  It's a summer job at a huge musical theatre and opera festival and I'm more than excited.

On another note, I've been busy once again with school and with the musical A Man of No Importance (AMONI) on the management side of things this time - which is much more work than I thought it would be....  but it's still fun.  Not as fun, but it's fine.

A heart?  Nearly?
I'm also working on the touring show, which I mentioned in an earlier post, called Wiley and the Hairy Man.  We've set it in Louisiana on the bayou.  I get to design my own costume.  Once my (very rough) rendering has been approved, I'll make a nicer one that is painted and such to post online (and use for a portfolio piece.)

Not our poster, but it's cute.
In the meantime I'm going to watch Downton Abbey and pretend to do lighting design at the same time.  Cheers!
